I love animals with two little incisors, but J.T. says...
"Out with the Rat, in with the Ox!"

2009 is the year of the Ox, which signifies "new beginnings and durability." New beginnings, you say? Durability huh? Alrighty then, let's test our "durability" by celebrating the incoming Ox year all night long... whaddya say?
I've rented out a little spot for us Sat. night (9:30pm - 2am), Jan. 24th... on the third floor. We'll have open bar (cocktails, beers, and wine) *all* night! Ages 21+ only.
We'll also have our own DJ spinning lively beats to get you dancing! Not to mention, I've secured lion dancers for us as well. Plus, we'll also have Tai Chi demonstrations being performed!
We've got an early bird special for this event. From now until January 17th, the price is only a Jackson + a Lincoln, yup $25! After that, it will go up to $35 dollars.
Secure your slot by rsvp'ing yes *and* making payment! So spread the word, come on out, and let's have a great night of dancing, drinks, and fun! =)

For those that don't know, the lion dance (舞獅) is a traditional dance, in which performers mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume... and is used to drive away evil spirits or bad energy, as well as to summon luck and fortune.

Tai Chi or Taiji (太極) is a slow form of exercise often practiced for health reasons. It balances the connection of the mind with the various components of the body, systematically improving the efficiency of the mind working with the body.
