Hi, I'm Tyler. I am genuinely interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture, and I see this as the perfect opportunity to meet new other like minded people and have fun!
What are your favorite Chinese dishes and foods?
toufu, meat patties, and candied fruit!!
How would you describe your level of Chinese? (Eg it's my native language OR I don't speak it OR I learned some dialect from my family but little Mandarin, OR I can speak a few words, simple conversations, etc.)
I think I'm in the mid+ intermediate range.
What kind of events and activities would you be interested in? What would you like to do at our events?
I'm interested in anything from small to large gatherings, in which we have opportunities to use chinese in social situations.
What could this group provide for you that no other Meetup could?

Where did you grow up? How did you learn Chinese? Tell us your story.
My last year of university I fell into a Mandarin course because they said if I participated I could join the program to visit China. However I quickly became very passionate about the language and the culture, and as soon as I graduated I went streight to china and didn't come back for over year.
