Lilly Feihong Song Of Shanghai Bazzaar in Philadelphia's Chinatown, has agreed to give our gracious, meet up group a tour of her wonderful Chinese marketplace. This Chinese shopping mall, provides the area with many items for purchase, as well as, being a hub for foreign interest. I frequent ShangHai Bazaar many times during the month, and "Song laoshi," gives support to my Wushu School. Through my visits to Shanghai Bazaar I found that the store is so vast, that I believe a tour guide is needed to extract all of its amenities. So now we have a great opportunity to gain access to many foreign items, and services from Asia. Lilly Feihong Song also said she will also be able to write our names in calligraphy, if time be permitting! Hope to see you there! August 8, 2008, 08/08/08, we all will celebrate a momentous opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing! To Help commemorate this opening , The City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Sports Congress are hosting an Evening of Champions on August 8, 2008. Evening of Champions will be a public festival in Chinatown allowing Philadelphians to celebrate the Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Two members of our Meetup group will be giving two special performances in honor of the games. Lu Kaizhi, and Hai Shan will be giving a Wushu presentation and a Musical piece, to support the cause.
