If they don't I say we have a meetup anyway. I just moved here and wanted to get practising my speaking as I do very little of it. Does anybody know when and where the group usually meets?

This meetup group seems like a ghost town. There is a post from last year that says they meet at the Zen Teahouse every Sunday at 5:00. I don't know if that still goes on.

How about this. Let's pick a time and place and everyone will see it and if they want to come they can come. I'd like to just jump start things again if nothing else is going on. I'm new to the area so I don't know where to go. We could go to the Zen Teahouse on Sunday sometime in the afternoon or if you know a place let me know. If we decide by the end of Thursday and post it on here as an idea or on the forum then it'll give people enough time to see it and come if they want to. Let me know your thoughts.

Maybe this Saturday at about 4:30 somewhere in Chinatown? Any suggestions or interested parties? Are you 21 Tim?

seems like this group never has a meet up. I'm out of town this weekend but if anyone organizes a meet up some other times, i'll be there. My Chinese level is intermediate. I traveled in China for 2.5yrs and picked it up during my travels. I can feel my Chinese 退步 after returning to the states last year.

Alright. Let's try for next weekend, which will be the third and fourth. Send me some messages and let me know if you have some ideas. I see May and Peter suggested Chinatown or the Art Museum, both would be fine with me.

It seems I missed out on a meeting in Sept. organized by aScneider and others in this post. If you guys are meeting, please keep me and our group in the loop. I know a few others who are interested in meeing.
I've taken four years of Mandarin in the past, plan to pick it up again, and would love to practice it.
Thanks!

Yes, I agree with Huyen. I would like to get this going again. I'm going to throw the idea out there about next Saturday, October 17th, 4pm @ Franklin Square Park @ 6th and Race. How's that? Rain location TBD.

Sounds good. I might not be able to make it due to another commitment. I'm all for more regular meetings.
