To (use) 'be' or not to (use) 'be'? Why are there so many phrases using two synonymous words? Meet up with fellow Chinese language enthusiasts and have your questions answered! In Chinese Workshop we learn Mandarin by creating real-life-like situations and conversations. All ages and levels are welcome! We meet nearly everyday at the Public Space at 590 Madison Avenue (between 56th and 57th Streets, the IBM Building). Look for a table with a Meetup sign. Where else can you get 2 solid hours of first-rate lesson for only $10? Join us!
*We have only 8 Workshops left! Kat is going to China. Check the "Calendar" page for the schedule and topics, and grab the opportunity to learn from an enthusiastic teacher who has published 15 Mandarin books and taught over the years hundreds of students!
**This Workshop focuses on listening and speaking proficiency. For reading and writing lessons, please check out our sister group: Chinese Reading and Writing Meetup (http://chinese.meetup.com/419/)
What members are saying
“ Kat has amazing insight. We were able to write the pinyin translation for many of my kung fu terms. She provided language and culture details that I couldn't have gotten otherwise. ...
”
“ Our Chinese Workshop NYC Meetup is a very recommendable group to learn and practice Mandarin Chinese the way it is actually spoken in real life. ”
