Poll Opened Responses

Hi everyone. I just wanted to find out if any Chinese speakers would be interested in studying advanced English by reading classic short stories. I figured it would be a fun way to help some of the Chinese speakers with their English. Please respond by your interest level and how often you might be able to attend. Steven and perhaps some other native English speakers will offer assistance.

Some of you dialogued with me about our mutual addiction for the food and the overwhelming friendliness of native speakers in Flushing that will happily help you practice long forgotten dialogue while you ponder what you are going to eat throughout the day. It's like going to China without the airfare or 16 hour flight. I go there to immerse myself in the sounds and tastes of Dong Bei, Beijing, or the plains states of China. Chuan cai, Tianjin chuan rou, Shandong jiaozi, Lanzhou la mian, Henan yang rou tang - but if Boston has made you a true snob for southern cooking, you can find plenty of Fuzhou/Guangzhou/Xiang Gang/Taiwan places that will delight you. Getting to and from by bus is not a joy ride, but if you have some energy and time to burn, you like social mini-trips, don't care what bulidings or streets look like in NY and you share my passion for bringing ALL of China to your dinner plate, you might find that you tolerate the bus ride more than most. Your thoughts?

We've been meeting near Chinatown in downtown Boston for maximum convenience. Harvard Square works for some people too. In order to plan future activities, it would help to know WHERE DO YOU WANT TO MEET? Please suggest other locations on the Message Board, these are some starters.
