Our first ever Chinese Movie Pot-Luck Night!

How does watching Chinese movies at home with pot-luck style dishes sound? Here it is!

For those of you who have been living in caves and don't know what pot-luck means, please bring one of your favorite dishes to show off your culinary cooking skills (or cheat and go buy something).

Movie @ 7:30
Since this is our first movie night, we start off with a very unusual Chinese movie. The movie takes place in Japan, but has three Chinese actresses. The whole movie is in English, with Chinese subtitles. In case you haven't guessed yet, its "Memories of a Geisha", Official site for the movie Memoirs of a Geisha starring Ziyi Zhang, Michelle Yeoh, and Ken Watanabe. Directed by Rob Marshall. Don't know if its released yet, but we'll watch it in typical chinese style. Feel free to bring your own DVDs and if we have time, we can watch something else or trade movies.

Come out Sunday, March 5th , 8 PM to experience an evening of Chinese Language Exchange with the ESL group. We will be meeting at Tea N More in Clairemont. Come sip some boba pearl drinks and enjoy some conversation. Tea N More has a large enough area where we can break into small groups for both beginners and intermediate language exchange. If anyone would like to help teach Chinese please let me know.
