Let's meetup for this FREE Chinese New Year Festival. It's a street fair on 3rd and J Street. We can carpool depending on where everyone lives... They supposedly have 50+ food vendors and its FREE (to get in) Also, street parking is FREE on Sundays. If you know of any other Chinese New Year events going on, feel FREE to post them. Did I mention its FREE? Don't forget to bring some $$ for food. Chinese places usually don't take credit... For more information, see http://www.sandiegoc hinese.net/sdcc/cnyf .htm

Hi, I am the new organizer, but I am also new to SD so the only Chinese place I know is the 99 Ranch off of Clairemont Mesa. Let's meetup and see who wants to do this regularly. Also, my Chinese is really bad so I need the practice! Event is FREE but would appreciate a $1 donation for the monthly dues if possible.

Lets meet up at Dumpling City instead! Be prepared to speak in Chinese! Since the venue is small, I had to limit the size...! =( If there is more interest, maybe we can meetup over boba to practice Chinese afterwards.
