Introduction

I'd like to make new friends and learn Mandarin Chinese.

Not at all.

Which part(s) of Chinese culture is your favorite?

For all its frustrations, I love the written language. Traditional Chinese architecture, music and art are also very beautiful. Not sure what my favorite thing is, but those are some things I like.

Are you using your Chinese for work/school/leasure purpose today?

I'm personally interested in the language, but I also would like to learn it because I think it would be useful to know for work.

How long have you lived/worked/studied Chinese in a Chinese speaking country?

I've never actually been to China, although I'd like to go someday.

How long have you studied Chinese in US?

I self studied with some audio lessons for like, oh, maybe a month or two. That was years ago, so all I really know now are some basic greetings.
